DIAMOND DRILLING

Core Drilling is used when circular openings are required through floors and walls, coring creates a neat way of allowing services to pass through concrete and brick structures.

Core Drilling can be usually carried out through any thickness of slab or wall, the process is practically zero noise and vibration free, it can be carried out within any environment or situation in live buildings or sensitive locations, mainly within industrial or commercial developments.

WALL CHASING

Northern Drilling employ the very latest in dust free wall chasing technology, we are able to form concealed channels for cables, pipes and conduits in brick, block & re-enforced concrete walls.

 

 

 

RING SAWING

Ring Sawing technology enables the operator to make cuts of up to 250 mm deep into concrete or masonry walls or floors via a hand held saw, the machine head of the ring saw enables the blade to be driven from the periphery, instead of the centre of the of the unique blade design.

Ring saws come in either petrol, hydraulic or 3 phase units, ring sawing is predominantly used in situations where access is limited or speed of cut is the main priority.

Typical applications of ring sawing are the forming of doorway or windows through masonry or concrete walls, or apertures through slabs to form riser or shaft openings.

FLOOR SAWING

Floor sawing is used to cut flat surfaces, ie, floor slabs & bridge decks enabling the release and removal of concrete sections, formation of drainage channels and expansion joints.

The floor saw can be either diesel or 3 phase electric, and is a walk behind self propelled unit, cutting depths can be made up to 400 mm deep.
